I just bought a 13 ft. I have small screw holes which I will fill with West systems or Gorrilla glue. I have a large hole on the transom 2 inches wide and 4 inches long. The previos owner said this was done to insall the steering system. What do you suggest to fill the hole where the foam was. I plan to use fiberglass mess to cover the top. I also have a hole where the transom light goes. That is a deep hole. How much room do I need for the transom light. Is a big hole needed.

Also the bow light was taken off and we found wires sticking out of the hull. Is it possible to use that canel to run new wire and if so where does the wires come out in the back of the boat so I can pull the wires out.

The boat on the registration said the boat is a 1964 but the guy I bought it from said it was a 1971 Sourpuss. A Sourpuss was not made in 1974. I wanted to add pictures but this site said my pictures were to big. How do you make the pictures smaller for the site. Thanks for the help.

What is suggested how to fix spyder cracks on the boat. Should I sand the whole boat down to the fiberglass and gel coat everything. I tried to find some information but I had no luck.
