Not sure about the "150" series, I have the "Classic" Sport 15, and two 4' canoe paddle's will "lock in" behind the side rail's if you "Invert" them together, I too explored the "Clip's", and the paddles take up less room this way, and are easier to get to quickly when you are up on the "Tidal Flat's".
