My 1988 22 Outrage with the 2006 225 ETEC posted (on a very flat day, 0 wind) 54 Mph @ 5600 rpms. Normal running with a mild chop is 40 - 50. I normally cruise at 30 to 35 all day long and its very comfortable. When i run at 50 or more, it certainly seems like there is nothing in the water, and my usual boating partner gets a little nervous when we run at top speed. :D
