You wore a mask? No one told me about a mask back then....lol. All I wore were some cut off jean shorts and a pair of flip flops....... It was not fun at all. Many times I had to literally scrape off the barnacle beards that were on the bottoms of these boats that were kept in the salt water without anti-fouling paint. I guess the only folks the at boat yard that were gullible enough to hand scrape those things off were kids like me. Lol.
