Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: What is the best way to plumb a fishwell on a Revenge 22

I purchased the Rule 500 automatic pump for the "fish well" on my revenge and thought there was some access into the scupper holes from the well. The only access to the scuppers seems to be the route that the fuel lines take in the well. Since I only plan to have a single engine should I remove the unused fuel line that was installed for twins? Are there other options to plumb the pump?

My 22 Revenge is a 1990. My well appears to be a different shape from yours. However on the port side Whaler formed a "knotch" in the mold to facilitate a discharge hose. You could always drill a hole and then install a drain tube to seal the hull from water intrusion. Then pass your discharge hose through the tube. Seems to me the easiest approach would be to remove the extra fuel line and use that space for your bildge pump discharge.

Good luck, Norm
