I've been talking about putting a jackplate on my 1984 Outrage V20 with Etec 175 hp.

So far, I like the CMC manual jackplate with 5 1/2 inches of setback.

I have heard a lot of positive reports. Better gas mileage is one I like and moving the prop farther from the bottom is another.

Are there any issues with this setup that I should be aware of?
