I know this topic has been discussed heavily and I have poured over the threads. I plan on moving the battery to the console since I am having my 1974 montauk repowered. I plan on cutting out the console floor but have a question on how the battery is secured. For those who have done this, did you drill tie down strap mounts to the console floor to strap the battery box down since the battery itself will be sitting on the actual floor of the boat when cut out? I can’t seem to find an image. If someone could post a pic of their setup that would be awesome. Thank you!
