New Owner of a 1993 Dauntless 15. Doing some detailing on the boat and going through it prior to the Wisconsin winter ending. I have two questions today.

1) I would like to mount a rod holder to the front of the center console, what would you all recommend? Have seen a few different brands but I am unsure as to what would be best, I also feel like they might conflict with the bimini. So would it be better to mount rail mounted rod holders above the windscreen going back over the drivers head perhaps? Rail mounts in other locations? Just want to make the right call.

2) I am looking to replace all of the cushions, I have seen a few replacement kits out there. What do you all recommend, quality and value.

And I found Sue at the Boat House through this forum. That is a gem of a person with vast knowledge. She helped me find all of the vinyl and decals for my boat so that I can redo that over the next month of so. Amazing resource.

Our previously owned Dauntless 16 was equipped with OEM mounted rod holders mounted on the front of the console. Recommend you search Google Images to see the positioning of the holders. They could be easily fabricated from some Starboard plastic lumber and PVC pipe.

Authentic cushions are available from Anderson's.
Other vendors are crap.

Sue can order them too.
