I'm thinking about purchasing a downrigger for my 2005 130 Sport. Do people have any recommendations on the mounting location? I was thinking of possibly purchasing a stanchion mount but wasn't sure if they'd be strong enough to hold it. I was also thinking about mounting it on the back transom, but the might be too far back or maybe I dont have enough space. Any ideas?
