I am wary of most surveyors since they do not have experience or an understanding of how the Boston Whaler hull is constructed.
Moisture meters and tap test are not very accurate and give mostly false positives.
For this size purchase,get a proper surveyor. Ask Marine Max Norwalk for a person.
The 305 can handle the engines. Only 200 lbs heavier than the original 225 Verado's.
