Hey Guys, first time post here so please be patient.

I own a 2006 235 Conquest, but am posting regarding a friends.

He has a 2006 285 Conquest, twin Merc 225's, with a 9.9 Kicker on Port side.

His Boat at Dock Lists to Port, always. We are not sure where to start?

Lately on step, hit a wave and the boat will lean hard to one side or the other. He adjusts Trim Tabs to get it back to centre and then dials the Tab back as the boat steadies.

Sounds like water is sitting in the Hull somewhere? Any advise on where to start?

He does not have a Trailer for the vessel, but the local shop in town can pull and block it for a fee. Thanks

Is it possible mounting a 9.9HP kicker on the port side may have something to do with the boat listing to port? Before going to the trouble and expense of hauling the boat to investigate for leaks I would consider removing the kicker from the transom and observe the result.

If the kicker fuel is supplied from an on deck auxiliary fuel tank I would try to find a way to place the tank midships.

For peace of mind the owner may want to inspect the hull underwater. This can be done wearing a snorkel and mask. It can be dangerous to be in the water at a marina. A better place to do it could be when the boat is anchored in shallow water or beached.

If the boat has twin fuel tanks the list could be caused by improper fuel management, ie. using fuel from the starboard tank until it is almost empty before switching to the port tank.
