Has anyone added marine decking to their boats? If so, can you share your experience? Is there a specific manufacturer that has a better reputation than others?

After a quick search online I could not find any pre-fabricated template kits for order on a 1979 17' Montauk.

What product are you referencing?

I installed Dri-Dek in all three of my boats.
