Do any of you members know if there is a resource to find where the wood backing (in the foam) is located? My boat is a 1986 15' super sport. If there is nowhere to find a diagram is there any way I can locate them myself.

I believe there are published wood locating diagrams published for most models. Try the Whaler web site and this site.
