At a through-hull fitting, bottom stern bottom, a stick was lodged in the opening.

THAT is a RED FLAG!

Is the through hull compromised? Would really need to see photos to ascertain if it is just debris or water ingress into the hull.

The fact there is sand in the aft spaces speaks of the lack of inspection/care by dealer. They should have cleaned it up pre-sale.

I would find another candidate.
