I have had my 1985 15' SS since 1991, and it has suffered the life of the un-used, sitting behind my house for the last 20+ years. Granted, it got uncovered, power washed, teak oil / varnish applied, screws adjusted, etc. pretty much each year. Well, last week, after all this time, I have received a mooring in my town... so... today, I gutted her. Took every bit of teak and hardware out, rails off, every fitting and screw removed. I would like to reseat everything, and am on here poking around for what to do about any potential water infiltration, how to fill and repair, fix spider cracks, recoat, etc. I want to bring her back to real life and start using her again, and set her up on the mooring.
So. Where to start next. I plan to build a list, and will post some updates (in the correct location). But, it occurred to me, somebody has done this before and already made a list. Have you? Would you share? - so far, I haven't found one in my search. 'Restoration checklist'. 'Boat repair checklist', etc.
Feel free to ping me back, I'd appreciate it.

If we shared the list, it would wreck your project.

No pain, no gain.

Take one thing at a time, post the questions. :-)

Teak was not original for the smaller hulls.
Mahogany was.
