Hi - We have a 1997 Boston Whaler 20' Outrage with a 2006 200 Evinrude Engine. Yesterday I took a look at the back bilge area and found the automatic bilge hose loose and not connected to anything. Can someone help in suggesting where the hose should go or be connected to?

The spiral hose in the bottom left of the photo is from the bilge pump. which needs to be rotated so it is sitting on the floor of the bilge. The end of the hose should connect to a through hull fitting on the inside sidewall of the boat. Look on the outside of the boat, near the Whaler logo for a through hull fitting. It is not the floor drain, rather 4-5 inches above the waterline. That is the fitting, just attach the hose with stainless clamps to the inside of the fitting.

thanks. the float mechanism failed and the negative line seemingly was cut by the previous owner. Time to rewire in a new auto bilge.
