Bought my first Whaler from a customer I had a month ago, older gentlemen with health issues. Sat for 4 years, cleaned up the carbs and she fired up great. 1989 15" Super Sport, with a 2004 honda bf50. Picked it up for $2500 as was. Just redid the seats, painted and fixed up the trailer, ran new lights, and polished the old gel coat. Anyone have any information about this year/model?

Must say congratulations and well done.
The 15 Sport is a very desireable model. It is a great all around boat.
Given the pressure on the used boat market, you did
very well.

Yes, you got a great deal. The 15 footer model I see in the photograph is a Super Sport Limited 15. The Super Sport Limited has a one piece, all fiberglass structure with two windshields. The helm position is to starboard. Boston Whaler designed the Super Sport Limited model following customer complaints about having to maintain the wood offered in the Sport and Super Sport models.
