Old post, but hoping someone can help out. I have a 2000 Dauntless 16' and need a new trailer. My current trailer fits the boat very well (Shoreline brand painted trailer with bunks and keel rollers) but is rusting out.

I have been shopping around for an appropriate replacement, and most of the trailers that are rated for at least 2800# and not over 21' long are 74" between the fenders which seems too narrow. My current trailer is about 82" between fenders and the hull has just a couple inches clearance on each side.

I'd rather not spend the $$ on a custom built trailer if there is an adjustable stock trailer that I can get that will work well. EZ loader quote for stock 2850# aluminum is about $3800 while custom build from Tuff Trailers is $7000 ish.

Can someone with the same boat let me know what the dimensions and/or make and model are for your trailer?

Thanks,
Tim

(EDIT: corrected to proper model name of 2000 Dauntless 16', Not Dauntless 160)
