I am going to do my AARRFFF on the Alafia in mid November but would like to know if any interest in a day trip to Anna Maria Island in August/September? Depending on the wind we either anchor off the northern tip of the island on the Gulf or inside the Inlet at Long Boat pass at the far south end of the Island. Usually the inlet is better as there are places to sit on land and BBQ or get some shade.
