Hound is correct. Then again, capacity plates don't lie.
We are discussing the VanLancker designed 1996 model rather than early Dougherty model produced from 1970-82.
Keep in mind this boat has a dry weight of 2500 lbs. Add the 11 people it can carry, 120 gallons of fuel and a few lbs of gear and you will want the hp.
The days of re-powering with twins is waning due to the engine cost, added harnesses, gauges and networking.
