Boat was not surveyed for water ingress, just a visual inspection.

There are two solid (putty filled) through hull patches, one on port and one on stbd side.These "patches" are there for through hull fittings to be installed either as factory options or retrofit. When I drilled the 35mm core there was the outer fibreglass skin, then some plywood (one thin sheet) and then the hard material (putty) about 40mm thick until the inside skin. The transducer area I believe is same material as rest of the "patch" but merely (reserved) for standard transducer placement.

Update: Went to carry on working on tdr install and all good. No more water when I drilled the hole for the anti-rotation bolt in the front of the transducer fairing.
