Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: Original color of bungee on the cooler cleat for a Montauk in 1989

My newly acquired 1989 Montauk has a black bungee on the cooler cleat but I am trying to keep stock, so I wanted to check to see if someone knows the original color. I have seen them in both black and white.

The white turn grey/dirtish so I would go with black if I was replacing them.

I used royal blue to match the mills console cover.

I have an 1988 Montauk and mine are black.

(changed abbreviated year to full 4 digit year per guideline #1 at the top of this page)
