I too think the Honda 100 is a great engine. It does weigh 100 pounds more than the Yamaha F70, (360 versus 257 lbs.) Looking at the F70 on my boat I am not sure I would want another 100 pounds on the transom. My battery is presently at the stern. If it were in the console that might give the Montauk better balance with the Honda.
