A 1964 Sport 13 here looking at some maintenance for bottom paint after a coat of water barrier/ primer.
Using Whaler's measurements for the waterline I came up with 49 square feet [rounded up] area below the waterline.
Is this right?
Also, Is acetone a good, cost effective wax stripper & cleaner for Whaler gelcoatings?
Many thanks.

Lacquer thinner works really well.
Doesn't evaporate a fast as acetone.

Many thanks, PerBro!!!
Read somewhere on this blog a poster stated a qt of Bottom Paint is more than enough for a 13 foot Sport coverage.

A quart will paint the bottom of a 13 foot sport with one coat which is adequate for a boat that has already been bottom painted. If you are starting with Gel Coat then after the barrier coat 2 coats of bottom paint should be applied witch takes less than 2 quarts but more than a quart so you will have a little left over for between season touch ups.
