Well, looks like I need to re-caulk the deck seams on my 2000 Dautnless 220. The seam I am talking about is the one that goes around the fuel tank access deck and runs all the way to the stern of the boat. I noticed yesterday that the seams in a few area, especially at the stern at the rear steps are separated leaving a gap.

So, I am looking for recommendations on what type/ brand of caulk others have used with good success. In doing research, the two that seem to be showing up most frequently is 3m 4200UV and Lifecaulk. I am looking for a lasting quality product that will be somewhat easy to get a nice smooth factory finish look. Spoke to Whaler and they just said white RTV is what the factory uses.

Boat is located in Florida and stays covered on the trailer when not in use.

Any tips/ tricks of the trade are also greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
James
