I'm getting ready to reinstall (some of) the front platform with its integrated "sliding" convertible seat.
Two questions:
- what holds the seat in its upright position? I see no latches or anything from keeping it from slipping back down. Am I missing something?
- which side/end of the seat/platform goes astern to act like a backrest? I'm guessing the short side/end since the long one has a upright edge that I'm assuming holds cushions from sliding off.
TIA for input and/photos
Wayne

Not sure on your questions but I just picked up a 1968 and was trying to find info on the platform and seat as well. Did you find on here?

My platform and seat came with the boat... it was not installed though.

I think the platform area just folds in half.
The back of the seat is the forward console.

See if this personal page helps.

The drawings for the platform are in our Downloads section for those that want to build their own forward platform.
