I want to replace the cooler on my 2008 Montauk 190. It has the Igloo Marine Ultra 72 but the previous owner moved the cupholders out for a different cooler which was not sold with the boat. I would like to get an RTIC or Yeti to have more cooling power. Anyone ever used the RTIC? https://www.rticcoolers.com/shop/cool...C-65-White Or even better, have you moved the cupholders out to fit in a larger cooler?

Thanks,
Cynthia

Many members have replaced the Igloo with a Yeti. Favorable reports have been posted. I am not familiar with RTIC.

Keep in mind the console cooler bracket may not fit the Yeti or RTIC. One may need to install different hardware. Take care when drilling into the floor and seal all screws with marine sealant.

I have the RTIC 45quart and am very happy with it. Every bit as good as Yeti for 1/2 the price. A 10lb block and a 10 pound bag of cubes lasts a week in 90 degree heat. The only problem may be the wait - I ordered mine in November and got it in April. Maybe their delivery schedule has improved.
