That MDZ number is something made up from the state of Maryland.
It is not a Boston Whaler number and someone put it on a brass plate which Whaler never had.
I am guessing that this Squall was made prior to HIN numbers so you will not know what you have unless you find the Stencil number.
No matter, it is what it is and it is basically unknown for now.
