Montauk 17'
I just purchased a 1979 17' Boston Whaler. I want to install a trolling motor. Will a 52" 55# - 12v SW Riptide Minn Kota be sufficient for this hull or do I need a 24v system.
I will use a quick disconnect base. How do I mount to the glass hull. How do I anchor in the glass? I'm really new to this. Thanks for having me on the site. I've built ships for 37 years but no little about glass. Thanks in advance. Anything you guys can share would be appreciated,
