Hi,

I am considering a floating boat lift such as Jet Dock or EZ Boat Port for my 1991 Montauk but have heard that the gel coat on the hull can be damaged by rubbing against the lift when it is loaded and unloaded.

I would appreciate any comments or suggestions.
