Have a 240 Dauntless that we use but looking for a smaller and more shallow draft boat as well. Considering the super sport but finding it hard to decide what options I would want.

Curious on what is the benefit of the tow arch over the ski pylon options on the super sport?

Also it looks like the bimini (regardless of tow arch) does not fold fully flat on the current models. Is that correct? Maybe an aftermarket one does fold flat with a slide system.

Anyone know the clearance from the ground to the top of the tow arch and/or bimini while on the trailer? I'd like the option of storing the boat in a large garage but it has to clear the door opening.

I thought the tow arch (maybe even the bimini option) are removable. Is it feasible to remove it each winter for storage and put it back on?

Any other recommended options to get?

Thanks for any info...

Hello DF If I may ask how do you like the 240 Dauntless. Actually how does it handle in rough waters does it tend to take water in over the stern. I am considering buying one. Any personal feelings on it would help, if you do not mind. Thank you Wayne
