Whaler isn't doing anyone any favors here by calling a boat something that was never made in the past.

There was never a 280 Outrage in any Boston Whaler catalogs in the past.

The most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of is trying to rename something that was never made back then.
How do you change all those older catalogs and facts? And names on the sides of the boats?
Can't do it.

Outrage 28', 1999-2001
Outrage 290, 2002- ?
Outrage 280, 2016 (new)

Again, there never was an Outrage 280 in any Boston Whaler catalogs in the past.

Boston Whaler has just announced a new Outrage 280 for 2016 in this years catalog.
