I need to replace my outrage 20 fuel tank.

It has rotted through at the bottom of the aft tank wall. @ 1' X 2" hole after pumping tank of old fuel and sludge. I would like recommendations for under deck replacement tanks. The current tank is 87 gallons and FMT in NC have replacements for @ 1400 plus freight. would like to consider a plastic one but can't locate one.

For any replacement tank, it is the shipping that will really hurt.

While Moeller offers several below deck rated plastic tanks, the uniquely angled shape precludes it from almost every model.

For members who are more than a few 100 miles from FMT, the recommendation is to source a replacement tank from a local fabricator.

Check local Whaler dealer's Parts Department for a recommendation. Also get one from local marine supply house.

Remove existing tank and provide to fabricator so they can use it as a template.
