Looking for trailer recommendations for a 1997 outrage 20. prefer bunk mounts vs rollers.

(please read the guidelines at the top of this page and use the full 4 digit year)

thank you joe I use that type of trailer with my Nauset ( a magic TIlt) and have liked it very much, it is well balanced and pulls nicely. not sure what trailer length for the 20 should be and if it should be a single axel or dual axel as this boat is physically much larger than the nauset.

My opinion only:

18' models = single axle trailer
22' models = double axle trailer

20' models = can go either single or double depending on the owner and how heavy the boat is.

I have a 1984 outrage withe a custom built single axle disc brake failed. It tracks beautifully behind my tow vehicle. It's really your call. I have a bunk / roller set up. I think ultimately it depends on the trailer and the set up.

I would go two axles. I have a 1998 17 Outrage and it's a beast. I also had another that was a 1999. If I had my druthers, I would put two axles and brakes under my 17 and definately for the 20.
