Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: 190 outrage drill between gas access and gunnel?

Hi all,

Working on a 2012 190 Outrage

I want to run electrical wires from the console to the port gunnel. Does anyone know if I can safely drill between the gas filler access area and the gunnel, or is there foam there?

FWIW, I emailed the same question to BW, and here is their reply:

"Yes, you can drill a hole in this location, however, you might run into a little bit of foam depending on the exact area that you drill the hole. Not a big deal though. Just make sure to seal the hole at both ends."
