Hi All - I have used this site a lot for research - thanks to all who contribute to it. I now need some specific advice and hope you all can help me.

I currently have a 1987 18 Outrage with:

I) 2006 Yamaha 4 stroke (<350 hrs) - ~ 48 MPH with gear/fuel/people and burns <6 gal an hour with normal use.
II) full Mills 2010 mooring cover, Bimini, specialty marine: stern seat, leaning post and bow cushion set from '09
III) 2013 Humminbird 408120-1 Fishfinder 597ci HD DI Combo
IV) 2010 Load Rite 5 Starr bunk trailer with disc breaks

I am thinking of trading up to a late 1980's Outrage 20 with Whaler Drive or 22 Outrage. I initially was looking for a 22 but really started to like the idea of the closed transom when I ran into this post on LI: http://longisland.craigslist.org/boa/...02593.html for $18,100, no trailer and 1998 200 Johnson.

My logic for trading up to the 20/22 -
1) move from 7 to 10 or 11 max capacity for headcount (20 vs 22), which I need due to family size increased to 4 + we frequently bring friends/extended family out.
2) I really have started to like the closed transom of the 20 - WD
3) The 20 - WD and 22 are virtually the same size and still very trailer-able, which is important to me.

There was posing on LI Craig's list in early March for 20 Outrage - WD with T-Top, 2009 250 eTec with <50 hours and trailer (albeit a roller trailer, which I would have swapped out) for $20k that ended up selling before I could get there for $15,500.

The Port Jeff posting seems far over priced - my gut tells me the hull is worth $7-$8 k + $3-$4K for the 1998 power plant (which supposedly has low but unconfirmed hours) so call it $12k on the high side. The trailer is extra but new and available for $2600.

A few questions, which I have lettered for simple replies to this thread:

A) Would I be a complete fool (please don't hold back ladies & gentlemen) to offer $14k all in with trailer?
B) Is the 20 outrage - WD so rare that it is worth more or should the overall package (Less trailer) really be closer to $8 - $10k?
C) Should I just go late 1980's 22 Outrage?; there are a handful (also overpriced) on the market right now and likely many more to come over time... I just have really started to like the '20 - WD.
D) If I were to guess the value of my boat, I would say $6k Hull + $6K power plant + $2K interiors/electronics/trailer - $14k overall - am I way off? Anyone interested?
E) Anyone have a late 1980's 20 or 22 Outrage they are looking to sell? I really love these designs and want late '80s so other makes/years need not reply! Trade options are welcome.

Thanks all for reading my post and thanks in advance for any/all of your advice -
Kind regards -
Thad
