Hello Members,

I just picked up a new to me 1981 13' Sport.

I struggling to understand what the 5 screws are for on the transom. My 1985 didn't have them, but I do see them on other hulls. Can these be removed? are they standard edition for the 1980-81 years? Would appreciate any info.

P.S. The picture is compliments of Neff. Not my hull, butt same situation.

You might be talking about the mounting screws for a cable & pulley steering system >>>

There are 5 screws on the starbrd side & 4 on the port, and you can remove them if they aren't being used.
