my 1997 outrage 20 has a fuel delivery issue, will start and run but goes lean and then dies due to no fuel delivery from internal tank. if I run an external tank 10gal from deck of boat it is not a problem. Hoses look OK can't tell if it is a vent problem not getting enough air in tank to prevent a vacuum forming, fuel line from tank to engine sucking air in from crack some where or fuel line to engine blockage.

am running a 175 carbureted Evenrude loop charged ocean pro. thought about the fuel pump but doesn't seem to affect the smaller tank so I don't think that is the problem

any suggestions on process to figure this out would be appreciated .
