I have a Montauk I am looking to sell and not sure what its worth. Can anyone help me out on a value?

The boat is in excellent condition with a 90 Yamaha with low hrs.

Not sure how to put picture up, new to site.

Not sure what the value is refurbished. However, I bought a very well maintained 1985 17' Montauk a year ago for $6K. That included a 2007 trailer and original power (1985 Evinrude). I bought from the original owner.

I'd say my boat is in "very good" conditioned, but certainly not restored to original condition. It was in good enough condition for me to consider it worthy of a re-power and I look forward to many years of use.

A lot could depend on the motor. What year? Assume it is 2 stroke.
When you ask refurbished, does that mean it has been done, or if you did it what would the value be then.
I think if the boat is in good, usable shape and the motor is same you might get $6000.

If as you say the boat is in excellent condition, think $8000.

Photos are absolutely necessary for anybody here to give you any kind of an accurate GUESS. Value is what any certain individual in the market is willing pay and what condition they are looking for. Some want beaters and some want show boats.

Although mine is not for sale, I just happen to have a 1979 Montauk also. Take a look at the photos on the personal webiste link for your comparison. Unrelated to this, I also know of top condition fresh water Montauks that have sold for upwards of 12K.
