Steering wheels universally fit all steering systems.
If you are installing hydraulic steering on a 1971 Ribside teak center console, I STRONGLY recommend you use a rear mount helm. The regular front/surface mount helms stick out too far and do not look good on this console. The front face of the console will require inside re-inforcing for whichever unit you use, because of the heavy weight of the helm.
