There is a Bimini for sale locally, says came from 1986 Montauk 17.

Any chance it could fit my 2006 Montauk 170?

I am doubtful that the frame would be wide enough. Your boat has 8" more beam than the classic.

Even if you could find a way to make it work, you would end up with a bimini that was narrower than optimal for your boat. When it comes to sun protection, you want to max out the dimensions in every direction.

Too bad, there was a guy down here who was recently selling a bimini for a Montauk 170 that was in beautiful condition, for $250. It was red, but it sold quickly.

I have a really nice Wm. Mills like new bimini for sale that fits 2002 models or later.

2002 was a transitional year where both the older and newer model was made.
Which model do you have?
The Montauk 17' or the Montauk 170 as shown on our home page?
