Tom,
I am replacing my 18 Outrage 1984 teak with Sapele, which is an African Mahogany. It has an excellent grain, density almost identical to teak, and similar marine endurance. The supplier I am obtaining it from did his 1976 13' using it and put on an oil finish. I am leaning toward a tung oil finish. I get the parts back from the cabinent maker this week, so will keep you posted. There is also a teak supplier that has made these for the 18 Outrage, whihc I will look up and send if I find soon
