Mid 80's dual axle EZloader carrying a V-20 Outrage. Removed outer bearing Timken L44649 but the rear seal is rusted in place and I haven't been able to confirm the inner bearing and race/cup numbers. Anyone know them? I don't want to pull the rear seal and bearing until I have the replacements. Surprised to see the outer bearing looking good but don't think the inner will be in as good shape.

I have seen EZ'z bearing kit for $39 but Timken replacements would cost a lot less.

As with several others I am thinking of a new single axle trailer, any recommendations in Maine or NH? I am on the Maine coast and use local ramps a few times each summer. The EZ has heavy rust on all steel parts and now the galvanized frame is showing some flaking. Local dealers have suggested Loadrite 5 starr or Venture for around $2400.

Sadly boat trailers are not like cars where you can buy part based on year and model. The only safe way to get the right bearing and seal are to remove them and find the number. Some may say to measure the spindle diameter but that doesn't give you the measure for the diameter of the outer bearing race. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Call EZ Loader in Spokane WA and ask them what the numbers are. This is what I did and they were very helpful.

Cy when you call EZ Loader ask for Bub and have your Trailer serial number handy. The SN should be located on your trailer registration certificate.

Thanks all. I was concerned that EZ would just give me their part number and not a number that could be cross referenced.
