Tell him you want a Whaler Trailer (w/ keel rollers) similar to John in VA. Fred customized my Loadmaster 2426 with 5 cross members and ten 12" Stoltz rollers (w/ stainless pins) that are mounted back to back. It also has a pair of 2x4 bunks that fit well against the chines and are mainly intended for balance.

It originally came with a device that was mounted on the most forward cross member to guide the bow towards the wench but I replaced it with another set of dual rollers so I could get a little more support.

It has 4 wheel disk brakes and Vortex hub assemblies so if you lose a bearing your spare tire has the hub attached.

The dealer I worked with was S&S Marine in Norfolk but I'd guess there is a dealer closer to RI. If not, talk to Gary who is the owner and his number is -800-453-6053.

Take a look at my personal page to see a couple pictures of the trailer. When I took that first photo I just got it home. It included the forward guide that I removed and didn't have the side guide posts mounted at that time but should give you a pretty good idea of what you'll be getting. The second photo shows it at the ramp. After I got everything adjusted it rolls on and off very easily. It almost loads and unloads by itself and compared to my former wobble roller trailer, it sits lower so I do not need to dunk my Xterra too far into the water to launch/retrieve.
