Wondering if anyone has any luck with pre-made boat covers that you can find from a number of sources online? I need a cover for when its in the yard on the trailer, mainly to keep leaves, etc out. Does not need to be able to trailer-able.

Hi-I have a cover for a 1983 Outrage. I have no need for it since my boat was stolen in July 2014. It is in good condition but needs a good cleaning. If you're interested let me know. Larry

Carver manufactures both a custom cover (10309*) and a styled to fit cover (79918*) to fit the Boston Whaler 18 Outrage w/ Bow Rails (thru 1990). Both styles are available in a variety of material and color options. You can contact us or any of our retailers or dealers for material/color swatches. Depending on which elements the cover will be exposed to will affect the actual material recommendation.

This custom cover is designed to be an exact fit, has sewn-in reinforcements and has an attached outboard motor cover.

The styled to fit cover is designed to fit this boat style and also has an attached outboard motor cover (this one does not include sewn-in reinforcements).

If the cover will be exposed to a lot of snow - our 100% Polyester covers (Sun-DURA or Performance Poly-Guard) would perform well in MA.

I got a Carver SunDura cover for my Montauk 17 a couple months back and it fits very well. The fabric also seems reallyl nice. It seems like a great deal for the price. Speaking of price they seem to vary. I checked out the vendors listed on the Carver website and went with the best price which was Quality Marine Supply at that time (they were great people to deal with). I ordered it on a Sunday and it was manufactured and at my door in PA 9 days later.

Hi-I have the cover for my 1983 outrage that was stolen July 2014. It needs a good cleaning but is in good shape and is usable. It covered the entire boat including the 130 Evinrude outboard. If you would like I might be able to send you a picture of it when it was on the boat. Larry
