Hi all. I'm in the market for a 13 Dauntless and just came across a 2009 130 Super Sport.

Please share your experiences with the 2009+ 130 SS.

Is seating comfortable with the bucket seats?

Any known issues with water coming thru the scuppers onto the deck as found with the 13' Dauntless?

How does the 2009+ 130 SS perform against earlier models and/or against the 13' Dauntless?

All experiences and insights are welcome.

Thanks!

Just to compare the specifications side by side of the models you are referring to.

1995 - 1998, Dauntless 13'
length = 13' 9"
beam = 6' 0"
max hp = 50
weight = 650 lbs.

2009 to present, Super Sport 130
length = 13' 3"
beam = 5' 10"
max hp = 40
weight = 640 lbs.

THe struggle I went thru when looking for my dauntless was the same issue. ss or dauntless. I looked at what my use would be more of. I figured i would fish more than anything and liked the center console design better than the ss lay out. Now i did go with a 14 instead of a 13 dauntless. First thing i did was switch out the scuppers to the ball type. 95% takes care of water coming in.

That 14' Dauntless is one of my favorite boats, it cracks me up because from afar she sits like 28 footer.....very pretty boat.
