And after viewing the excellent Boston Whaler Catalog Collection 1958-2006
The year 1975 on page 14 will show the Outrage 19 bow rail section.
Composed of two stanchions per side for a total of four plus end rail , the height of the railing from the cap section seems to be roughly some 24 inches.
What precise OEM measurements were the bow rail of the Classic Outrage 19 of the mid seventies recorded as?

Thank You.

Having referred to the Boston Whaler Catalog Collection 1958-2006
Edited by Tom Clark and Daniel J.Miller

The catalog for the year 1971 will show that OUT-06 for the Outrage 21 has a choice of
1-Bow rail -High pattern secure for deck standing $150.00
2-Bow rail-Low pattern to clear pole of angler in forward fighting chair...$150.00

I can in all good faith ask of the custodians of obscured Whaler info this question:

Where will reside the data and specs in the respective heights and dimensions for both rail options on this 1971 Classic Outrage 21 ?

Serge: I bet Fred Caldwell, of CMI Marine, 781-337-0733, or Shaun, the new owner of CMI Marine, Weymouth, MA., would know the answer to your question of bow rail height. CMI/Fred made the rails for Fisher-Pierce. He is still in the business of selling and making rails for Boston Whalers. I bought some stainless side rail tees from him last week.

Serge - I would be more than happy to get you the bow rail height information, but unfortunately, both the 19 and 21 are stored for the winter 250 miles north of here. And I'm about to be heading WAY south in the opposite direction!

I do believe the bow rail height on the 19's is the same as all of the 21's. so somebody with one of those boats should be able to get you the information you need.

Your 19 is looking fabulous!

Thank You Larry,
Yes, the boat is starting to take a present personality of it's own..
The time spent and the learning curve in studies was an investment in my selfish Whaler "Man Cave" thing..
Having looked at our valuable friends Tom and Daniel's Boston Whaler Catalog Collection 1958-2006 CD set
The 1971 Outrage 21 had two bow rail options
High and Low patterns.
