Rich great job.
Like Doug said a nice swim ladder, love the 'custom' grab handle to pull yourself on board.
Wish I had one as my railing is just a little out of reach sometimes.
Love the hinged CC setup and beautiful RPS supports.

It looks great. Really nice custom work. Can you tell us where you purchased the stern ladder? or if it is a custom job how or where you had it fabricated?

I did alot of research before I bought this ladder. None of the others I researched would fit the transom of a 15 footer. The wood location is the problem. There is none. This unit has standoffs so no holes were needed to be drilled in the transom. I glued(with 5200) a polished alum plate to the top of the transom and screwed the top brackets on the ladder into that. All the forces of the weight are down force. It only cost $80

Please explain the engine bracket. Is that for a trolling motor? The photos are disorienting.

Phil,
Yes, it for a trolling motor. I got the plans from this site and had my aluminum guy who built the legs for the RPS build it for me.

I want to thank everyone for their kind words. The outboard at this time is up in the air, probably going bigger. This has been a fun project for me. I'm not sure what's next, I'm thinking of using the leftover Stiper console as a plug, build a mold from it and then layup some replica Striper consoles for sale. It would be an inexpensive mod. and an improvement over the mahogany small cramped console that were standard on many 15 footers. A fiberglass Striper console, a couple of pedistal seats a cooler and you're ready to go, and hardly any maintenance.
Converting to center console is a big deal, what with the tunnel and all, ask the folks who have done one.

Very nice. The boat really looks amazing. I am typically all original type of person, but your changes were very clever.

Regarding the trolling motor mount location. I see it’s offset, but seems it would interfere with the main engine. Is there a reason why you didn’t mount it over farther? Also, I love the wood in your boat. I see you added some on the step of the gunnels. Is there a purpose for this other than looks?

The plans for building the kicker bracket came from this site. Due to the shape of the transom on the 15 foot whaler the finished bracket will only fit in one spot. It has worked for many others, so I'm confident it will work on my boat.
