Absolutely get the FULL bow and "STD" side rails. The boat is small enough that these rails will get you some extra security and spots for mounting hardware, hang fenders, live nets, etc.
I think it is a must have option. Please note that if you have a BW supplied bimini (sun) top and it is down (laying forward) your step thru between the rail a mid ships will be slightly obstructed as it is when employed as you then have to step thru the triangle created by the SS posts. No problem for my Admiral a slight problem for my 6ft plus heavy frame. (see pics on personal page for what I'm talking about)
I enter the boat always from the back or step over the bow railing.
Love the bow railing and it has never interfered with fishing.
