The plumbing of the fuel lines is very different for the 1990 model compared to the 1991-1995.

To me, it is the overspill protector that is a problem. It is just a glorified check valve. It needs to be slightly vertical to keep the ball covering the hose.

This is the first time I have seen one of these in a Boston Whaler so I suspect it was installed by a former owner who overfilled the fuel tank and a marine installed it as a "fix".

I would consider removing it and adding a loop in the vent hose.

What exactly is the brass looking manifold next to the battery selector? What hoses is it feeding and where is it mounted? Not the best location (next to electrical switch).

Please replace the zip tie on the hose leading from the separator. Replace with a stainless steel clamp.
